Origin

Owner of the castle is Fonbel oenologist - Alan Vauthier, who is also co-owner of Chateau Ausone (Chateau Ozone). Its merit is that it thanks to his outstanding knowledge and leadership raised the quality of the wine at a fairly high level. In 1993 he was awarded the Chateau Fonbel classification St. Emilion Grand Cru. Production capacity: 80,000 bottles a year.

Taste

The aroma of wine is filled with tones of ripe cherry and black currant nuances of smoke and damp earth. The wine has an intense, full, harmonious taste with notes of ripe black currants, good acidity and a long finish.

Food Match

Wine combined perfectly with spicy aromatic dishes of veal and beef, cheeses with noble mold and mature cheeses.
