Tempel Perdition Sour Raspberry Stout
If your bottle features a dark, slightly disturbing label, chances are its from Tempel Brygghus, and Perdition Sour Stout is equally dark, and disturbingly good.
Pouring a deep brown with small dark, dissipating head, Perdition breathes deep dark malt, chocolate and raspberry fragrances, which can be found in even greater measure on the palate.
With an alcohol content of 8.3%, this Sour Stout has a dominant acidity with a complex mix of malts and a generous measure of raspberry. The bergamot note, and liqueur-like quality, coupled with a medium body, light carbonation and satin texture lead to a pleasing finish evoking raspberry tart.
